Workshop Description

Findings from a proper MSK examination are extremely useful in diagnosing rheumatologic disorders, especially where gold-standard diagnostic tests are lacking. Thus, basic MSK examination skills are crucial skills that physicians should have. This hands-on workshop focuses on MSK examination of shoulder, hand/wrist, knee and back exam from rheumatology point of view.

Workshop Description

Injection therapy is an important adjust in diagnosis and treatment of patients attending rheumatology clinic. This workshop aims at providing attendees with injections techniques based on anatomy. Attendees will have hand on training on how to perform the procedure on phantoms.

This workshop aims outline the indications and contraindication for joint injection
Discuss practical consideration for consent, equipment, techniques and complications
Demonstrate practical techniques on injections of knee, wrist/elbow, shoulder and ankle
