Eduardo Mysler is Director of the medical research organization, OMI in Buenos Aires, Argentina
He obtained his MD, summa cum laude at the University of Buenos Aires. Residency in Internal Medicine and completed a fellowship in rheumatic diseases at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Cornell University, New York, then serving as an attending physician at hospitals affiliated with New York University and became the director of the research center at the Rheumatology department. He was awarded the Arthritis Foundation grant for research in cell death in SLE.
He created a research institute initially in Rheumatology which has then been expanded to other 7 subspecialties in Medicine. The research institute has been awarded basic and clinical research grants from different institutions.
Dr Mysler is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. Abstract reviewer for ACR. He was a member of EULAR scientific committee. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 scientific publications and abstracts.
